The two published targets.
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Target | 1080p / Low / 30 fps, upscaling enabled | 1080p / Medium / 60 fps, upscaling enabled |
| OS | Windows 11 64-bit | Windows 11 64-bit |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 | Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
| GPU | GTX 1660 6 GB or RX 5500 XT 8 GB | RTX 2060 Super 8 GB or RX 6600 8 GB |
| API | DirectX 12 | DirectX 12 |
| Storage | 50 GB available, SSD required | 50 GB available, SSD required |
Both published targets rely on upscaling. “Recommended” does not promise native 1080p, maximum settings or a locked frame rate in every encounter.
Capcom’s current pinned support thread requires NVIDIA GeForce 596.49 or later, or AMD Radeon 26.5.1 or later. Driver guidance can change; re-check the official thread before troubleshooting a later build.
A conservative troubleshooting order
- Confirm the floor. Check Windows 11, free SSD space, 16 GB RAM and DirectX 12 support before changing game files.
- Meet the current driver floor and update Windows. Use NVIDIA 596.49+ or AMD 26.5.1+, then reboot so the driver state is clean.
- Verify the demo files in Steam. This is lower-risk than deleting configuration folders or downloading third-party fixes.
- Remove competing overlays and hooks. Test one change at a time so you can identify the cause.
- Match the published target. Start at the tier’s resolution, preset and upscaling assumption before judging the hardware.
- Use Capcom’s pinned support thread. Include hardware, driver version and reproducible steps if the problem persists.
Controller triggers not responding?
A community workaround reports that disabling Steam Input for the demo can restore trigger behavior on some setups. This is not a universal official fix: record your current setting, change only Steam Input, relaunch and revert if it does not help.
What this page cannot conclude yet
The demo can reveal compatibility problems and relative behavior on one system. It cannot prove final shader-compilation behavior, day-one patch quality, late-game load or retail platform parity. A scored performance verdict belongs after the launch build and driver context are available. Return to the release brief for platform and edition boundaries.
